“Digit-Windland” is a visual research by Yun Kuo and it is inspired by
how plants move with wind. The title is inspired by “Flatland”, a
novel about a two dimensional land from Edwin Abbott Abbott. The idea
of the project is to create a catalog of forms which use pictures of
plants as input and are rendered and distorted by noise of algorithm.

Welcome to Digit-Windland!
Digit-Windland is a playground inspired by how plants move along winds.
There are currently three places in Digit-Windland:
Lab
Landscape
Garden
Three different places have different purposes.
1.
You can create D-W-plants by yourself in the lab with your mouse and keyboard.
2.
You can wander through D-W-plants that grow in the wild in the landscape.
3.
And in the garden, there are my collections of the tempted D-W-plants.
You can press "s" in lab and landscape to save your plants.
Feel free to include our plants in your personal and non-commercial projects.
And tag me to show your new collections.
